Why buy Blueberry Extract by HSN?
Maximum concentration
Blueberry fruit is widely used across the world for its properties.
The plant is highly valued for its proanthocyanidins and other polyphenol content, however.
The conservation of the fruits is frequently inadequate and their properties aren't properly preserved, mainly becuase this doesn’t affect their flavour and primary culinary use.
At HSN, we exclusively select the best raw materials, only those that meet the highest quality criteria, which explains why we have the most concentrated blueberry extract on the market, with 1200% concentration of the original fruit.A 120:1 extraction ratio.
The daily 350g dose contributes appropriately 42 grams of natural blueberry.
Guaranteed proanthocyanidin and anthocyanidin content
The blueberry fruit contains polyphenols such as proanthocyanidins and anthocyanidins.
These compounds are highly valued as they're the main components of nutritional interests of the fruit.
However, with commercial blueberries, and many blueberry extracts on the market, we always encounter two problems:
- They're not properly standardised; that's to say, they don't guarantee an X concentration of these polyphenols.
- 'Highbush' varieties are marketed because they're juicier, but their antioxidant content is much lower.
Our blueberry extract, developed from the wild 'lowbush' variety, contains a guaranteed high concentration of these compounds of nutritional interest:
- 76.5% Proanthocyanidins.
- 12.5% Proanthocyanidin B2.
- 13% Anthocyanidins.
The highest concentration of anthocyanin derivatives on the market!
The highest ORAC
Blueberries, thanks to their nutritional composition, have an extremely high ORAC (Oxygen-Radical Absorbance Capacity).
When you also concentrate the fruit 120 times, as we do with our extract, and standardise it with the highest possible quality components, you get the product with the highest natural ORAC.
In addition to its use of complementary action with water-soluble vitamins such as vitamin C, which contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
Vegan-friendly
Blueberry extract is suitable for vegan diets.

Blueberry extracts are an excellent choice to consume before or after exercise because of their antioxidant properties and their ability to support muscle recovery. They are rich in antioxidants, especially anthocyanins, which can help reduce oxidative stress and muscle damage caused by intense exercise.
