Why Albion® Minerals makes a difference
Advanced chelation for great tolerance
The Albion® Minerals chelated calcium comes as a stable chelate (in the form of bisglycinate + carbonate), designed to favor absorption and good digestive tolerance. An ideal presentation to daily supplement long-term with total safety and the best tolerance.
Goal: The best quality. At HSN we use Albion® Minerals since it has a clearly defined prima identity, complete absence of impurities thanks to its full chelation process and traceability thanks to the patent, all backed by Balchem.
Balchem: process and consistency guarantee
Balchem provides the quality ecosystem that makes Albion® Minerals a chelated minerals standard: ensuring maximum batch-to-batch consistency, which we verify at HSN with every production of our products.
D3 of vegan origin and 100% plant capsule
Our vitamin D3 comes from cliqhen (not from lanolin), so it is vegan-friendly. In addition, we use vegetable capsules (HPMC), with no animal gelatin, to keep the formula aligned with a plant-based lifestyle.
Calcium + D3: The most classic and reliable support for bone health
The combination of calcium and vitamin D3 is a well-established classic for bone health. D3 helps calcium absorption and utilization, while calcium provides the structural mineral backbone of bone tissue.
From the formula you’ll get the following benefits:
- Calcium contributes to normal blood coagulation, to normal energy metabolism, to the normal function of muscles, to normal neurotransmission and to the normal function of digestive enzymes.
- Calcium contributes to the process of cell division and differentiation; it is necessary for the maintenance of bones and teeth in normal conditions.
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, to the maintenance of bones and teeth in normal conditions and to the normal function of muscles.

Frequently asked questions
Why does Albion® Minerals combine carbonate and bisglycinate?
This isn’t something we (HSN) control; we don’t mix mineral salts. It’s Balchem’s patented chelated calcium formulation that combines a concentrated source of elemental calcium (carbonate) with a high-tolerance chelate (bisglycinate) for a balance between significant intake and daily comfort.
Is D3 suitable for vegans?
Yes. Our D3 comes from lichen; the capsule is vegetable and we don’t use gelatin. Many market supplements that combine calcium and D3 use non-vegan vitamin D3, making integration into plant-based routines harder.
Can I take it all year round?
It’s a supplement intended for continuous use. So yes, although vitamin D3 supplementation is more important in autumn and winter due to reduced sun exposure, you can use it all year round.
That it contains D3, does it hinder integration with other vitamin D products?
The recommendation is based on consuming up to 4,000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily. Since this dietary supplement only provides 2,000 IU, you can use other products with vitamin D3.
