Liposomal Glutathione – High concentration in reduced form
Liposomal Glutathione (Liposovit®) (250 mg glutathione) from EssentialSeries is a dietary supplement in vegetable capsules, based on glutathione.
Made exclusively from glutathione in its reduced form (GSH), and encapsulated using an innovative dry liposomal matrix developed by Liposovit®, this is an optimized presentation designed for those who want to add quality glutathione to their routine, avoiding ineffective formulas or unnecessary extra ingredients. Being protected inside a dry liposomal structure, glutathione keeps its integrity during digestive transit, which helps its optimal absorption.
An advanced formula, focused on the essentials: high-quality reduced glutathione, protected and optimized thanks to Liposovit® technology.
Why choose reduced glutathione (GSH) over other forms?
Glutathione exists in different forms, with the most notable being reduced glutathione (GSH). This is the predominant form in human cells and the one best suited to the physiological processes involving this nutrient. Its specific structure allows it to remain stable under normal conditions and be compatible with the body's functions.
Unlike oxidized glutathione (GSSG), reduced glutathione is more stable, making it the preferred form when looking for a quality presentation to be used as a dietary supplement.
Also, reduced glutathione is more sensitive to environmental conditions, so its preservation requires specific processes to prevent degradation. This is where technologies like liposomal encapsulation become especially important, as they protect the compound against adverse conditions during its passage through the digestive system.
So, if you want a functionally stable form consistent with glutathione’s natural profile in the human body, the reduced option (GSH) is the right choice.
Liposovit®: A patented liposomal matrix
What is Liposovit®?
Liposovit® is a patented dry liposomal technology developed to improve protection, stability, and bioavailability of compounds in dietary supplement formulations. Unlike classic liposomal systems in liquid or semi-solid form, Liposovit® uses a powder approach that encapsulates the ingredient in a solid liposomal matrix, without solvents, ethanol, or extreme pH during the process.
This system allows for a more stable and technically advanced formulation, as it optimally protects reduced glutathione against factors that most affect its integrity: oxygen, heat, humidity, or gastric pH. Being fully integrated into the phospholipid matrix, glutathione is shielded from adverse digestive conditions, facilitating its transit without alterations.
Moreover, Liposovit® has been developed in Europe under strict quality standards and is patented, which supports its properties, manufacturing method, and stability. We have used, and continue expanding our product catalog with this technology as it has been successfully applied to delicate ingredients, allowing us to formulate capsules containing powder, making them practical and easy to include in any routine.
Liposovit® is the benchmark in liposomal technology: no solvents, no harsh processes. Just functional quality.
Advantages over traditional liposomes
Traditional liposomal systems usually come in liquid form, which involves certain limitations in terms of stability, need for refrigeration, and use of additives or preservatives to maintain integrity. Also, they often require solvents like ethanol to keep fluidity or more complex structures to stabilize the encapsulated ingredient.
Liposovit® offers a more functional approach that solves these issues through a solid, completely dry liposomal matrix that allows maintaining the formulation in capsules without altering the liposomal structure or compromising the protection of the encapsulated compound. This format:
- Does not require refrigeration or stabilizing agents, allowing the compound’s integrity to be maintained at room temperature.
- Does not use alcohols or acidic media during manufacturing, preserving the reduced glutathione structure without exposing it to harsh conditions.
- Avoids unnecessary additional ingredients, keeping a 'clean label' formulation respectful of the compound’s sensitivity.
Thanks to these features, Liposovit® maintains glutathione’s integrity during gastrointestinal transit, and does so in a practical, convenient format superior to other conventional liposomal presentations.
Optimizing bioavailability without compromising quality
One of the main challenges when formulating glutathione is its sensitivity to digestive environment conditions. Reduced glutathione (GSH), in its free form, can easily degrade in the stomach due to acidic pH and enzyme action, which hinders its absorption and limits its use.
Liposovit® liposomal technology provides a solution to this. By encapsulating glutathione within a dry liposomal matrix, a protective layer is created that helps preserve its integrity at all times. This matrix acts as a physical barrier against conditions that could compromise its structure, thus helping to optimize its bioavailability.
Unlike other methods that require combinations with other ingredients to try to optimize absorption, the Liposovit® system works autonomously, without needing poorly supported synthetic additives. This allows a formulation aligned with our 'clean label' philosophy, cleaner, focused solely on the main compound and its protective vehicle.
The result is an optimized glutathione dietary supplement, with a simple yet top-quality formulation, allowing comfortable and practical use.
A clean label and transparent formula
At HSN we formulate all our products following clean labeling principles: transparency, simplicity, and real quality. This means each capsule of our Liposomal Glutathione (Liposovit®) contains only what’s necessary, no superfluous ingredients, no aesthetic fillers, and no additives that distort the essence of the dietary supplement.
We work with a clear vision: to offer advanced and transparent products, without disguising their composition. This commitment is reflected both in the choice of raw materials, using an internationally recognized liposomal patent, and in designing a formula that avoids colorants, preservatives, and allergens, including cross-contamination.
Choosing HSN means choosing transparency, precise labeling, and a formulation where every ingredient has a reason to be.
