What exactly is “ZMA” and why is it so famous?
EvoZMA from SportSeries is a dietary supplement based on zinc, magnesium, aspartic acid, and vitamin B6.
ZMA is the popular name for a formula that combines zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6. Over the years, since its inception, it has become a staple in many people’s supplementation. The interesting thing is that ZMA isn’t just the formula: it’s how it helps keep an athlete’s routine on track.
The ideal time to use EvoZMA is at night.
EvoZMA as part of your nighttime routine
If ZMA is famous for one thing, it’s the “timing”: the best time to take it is at night, and many athletes use it as part of their day’s wrap-up.
What EvoZMA brings to the table
EvoZMA keeps the essence of the original ZMA (zinc + magnesium + vitamin B6) and adds a key stack ingredient: D-aspartic acid. The formula comes in vegetable capsules with a selection of mineral forms designed to make the label info clear and the use comfortable and high-quality.
A formula for your routine
EvoZMA is designed for those looking for a “simple” formula built on routine basics: easy to understand, easy to use, easy to keep up day after day.
Quality mineral forms
We’ve used magnesium as citrate and zinc as chelated bisglycinate. These forms are highly valued by demanding athletes who want a “well-made” and quality formula.
At HSN we know details matter: we’ve developed a clean formula that’s easy to read.
The benefits you’ll get from EvoZMA
- Zinc contributes to maintaining normal testosterone levels in the blood.
- Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
- Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
Zinc: the reason ZMA is always a 'basic'
Zinc is, without a doubt, the “anchor” of ZMA. It’s the key ingredient in the formula that, due to its multiple properties and daily requirements, makes it indispensable in your daily life.
Magnesium: the basic that completes the 'stack'
Magnesium is one of those nutrients many people make an effort to keep intake controlled and ensured daily, especially when training and aiming to maintain a healthy routine.
Vitamin B6: the finishing touch of the formula
Vitamin B6 pairs perfectly with this combination of zinc and magnesium, completing the set, especially because of its properties related to the regulation of hormonal activity.
Why EvoZMA is so well-known
Because the combination of Zinc + Magnesium + D-Aspartic Acid (with B6) has become a classic that connects with three clear goals:
- A simple formula.
- An easy routine.
- A quality composition.
Easy to keep up thanks to its nighttime use
Some products get dropped because they demand too much commitment to use, with complex schedules, multiple doses, and lots of capsules or tablets. EvoZMA, on the other hand, is simple to use: just take it at night, before bed, every day. That simplicity is a huge advantage to consistently benefit from the nutrients it contains.
A basic with a sporty vibe
EvoZMA is a very “gym-friendly” dietary supplement: easy to understand, easy to use, and easy to recommend. Many athletes need to complement their diet with these micronutrients, and when you find them combined in the right forms and doses, what could be more convenient?
History and curiosities of ZMA: a formula with a track record
Where ZMA comes from
A big part of ZMA’s appeal comes from its history and how it became popular in sports supplementation.
In 2000, a study was published in Journal of Exercise Physiologyonline that helped boost interest in this combination in the sports field. (Brilla & Conte, 2000)
Over time, ZMA established itself: a basic that, thanks to the huge fame it gained in gyms, has driven its development up to today.
a detail you’ll want to know
Keep it separate from calcium-rich meals
One of the most common recommendations when using EvoZMA is to take it apart from foods or supplements with calcium, to avoid competition in mineral absorption during the same intake.
How to use it in your routine
When? At night
EvoZMA is taken at night: you add it to your routine, let it work, and forget about it.
Consistency: the key
ZMA has something even more important than timing, and that is it should be used daily to get all its benefits.
Got questions? We’re here to help
Is this product only for male athletes?
No. The formula is based on nutrients that fit very different sports routines, and it’s totally valid and recommended for both men and women.
Can I take it if I already use a multivitamin?
Yes, just keep an eye on the overall intake to avoid excessive overlap of minerals and vitamins if you’re using several products at once.
Who is EvoZMA recommended for
- Anyone looking for a basic dietary supplement with Zinc, Magnesium, D-AA, and Vitamin B6.
- Those who value a clear formula with quality vitamin and mineral forms.

Excellent.

I started taking it because I suffered from a lot of cramps due to training and I must say that I stopped having them, in addition to recovering better and resting well at night. I recently added melatonin, took it together and I sleep very well every night.

I have to say they are a little bland for me...I need stronger vitamins for my deficiencies.

Very good
Enrique 24/02/2026
I take one tablet at night and it is very good for muscle recovery. In addition, magnesium itself is a vitamin that is difficult to acquire in necessary quantities with our current diet alone, so I especially appreciate its presence in this compound. On the other hand, I find it an affordable price and the product lasts me quite a while.

Good ZMA
David 20/12/2025
If you need an extra supply of magnesium and zinc it is an interesting supplement. However, unless you have a nutritional deficit of zinc, do not expect an increase in testosterone because that is not going to happen.
