Liposomal Vitamin C is a presentation of ascorbic acid where the vitamin itself has been protected by molecular structures known as phospholipids, which come into contact with the external environment, protecting its interior where the vitamin in question is located and releasing it directly into the bloodstream as they 'break apart' once absorbed in the intestine.

Unfortunately, if the compound manipulation is not cautious, the liposomes can 'break,' releasing the vitamin, which is a big problem because although it remains liposomal vitamin in origin, in practice it is no longer protected.
