Ultra Hydrolysed Collagen Complex by EssentialSeries is a unique formula developed by HSN, in tablet form, from the combination of a high dose of hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides of high nutritional quality, bamboo extract with a high content of natural silicon, water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, and the best mineral salts with synergistic activity.

The collagen used is of the highest possible quality. It is made from bovine connective tissue from meat intended for human consumption, not from offal like other supplements on the market that are not of adequate quality. Its controlled hydrolysis allows a high quantity of collagen peptides to be released without degrading its nutritional composition or generating a high salt quality.

Herbal extracts are not always the same and although a 'bamboo extract' always looks like a bamboo extract, there is more to it than that.

At HSN we use a bamboo extract material, an original plant from the Americas, grown and harvested using traditional methods, guaranteed not to derive from environmental exploitation in regions such as southern Argentina where the bamboo being treated impacts the environment in a way that is devastating to biodiversity. At HSN we are committed to sustainable development.

In the preparation of the extract, we do not use aggressive solvents which, although they can generate highly concentrated extracts, degrade their nutritional content. We only use solvents that are friendly to the natural compounds of bamboo, which are the ones we are interested in consuming.

Even so, our bamboo extract has a high concentration (15:1) and has been standardised to 75% natural silica, guaranteeing that content in the tablets, a significant percentage of which is natural silica.

The best-hydrolysed collagen: Bovine / Allergen free / Low molecular weight peptides

Collagen can be obtained from multiple sources, some of the best known of which are of marine origin, be they fish scales or structures of crustaceans and molluscs.

This has several problems, such as the presence of fish and shellfish allergens, their naturally bad taste and strong smell, the large amount of salt generated by their treatment, and the presence of bio-pollutants from the sea such as heavy metals that must be chelated.

At HSN we have naturally avoided all these problems by selecting a source of the highest quality bovine collagen, as it comes from beef there is no reason to worry about allergens as it has none.

During your treatment, as collagen cannot be consumed native because it is not absorbed by the body, we have hydrolysed the collagen protein in a controlled manner to ensure the production of low molecular weight collagen peptides, which are the most effective, with an average weight of 3KDa.

Bovine collagen is normally obtained from offal, at HSN we don't like that.

Offal, because food-grade meat is used to produce meat preparations, such as meat directly, or sausages, meatballs, and other similar products.

    I have tried it and found it to be a very complete product. Comfortable to take and the combination of peptides, vitamins and minerals makes it quite effective for joints and skin. The presentation is practical and the quality/price ratio is adequate.
