Quinoa is a pseudocereal traditionally grown in the Andean region of South America. It’s a seed, but used similarly to cereals. Quinoa is prized globally for its high protein content, as well as its full profile of essential amino acids. It also contains significant amounts of fibre and is naturally gluten-free. At HSN, thanks to our controlled processing system, we guarantee our whole quinoa flour is 100% gluten-free. How to use quinoa flour – Recipe ideas

Quinoa flour is perfect for healthy recipes such as protein pancakes, wholemeal muffins, gluten-free cookies, bread or more nutritious pizza bases. You can also use it to thicken soups or sauces instead of refined flours, or for making doughs for sweet and savoury tarts with an added boost of plant protein. Combined with other gluten-free flours like rice or almond flour, it’s great for making everything from energy porridges to homemade protein bars, simply by mixing it with protein powder.

A simple and healthy recipe using quinoa flour is protein pancakes.
