Evocasein 2.0: the protein that works while you rest
Evocasein 2.0 from SportSeries is a flavored food supplement based on micellar casein and an enzyme complex, designed for nutrition, with sweetener.
Evocasein 2.0 is our modern take on flavored micellar casein: a slow protein, perfect to cover your specific needs, with the best taste and an unbeatable smooth texture. We’ve fine-tuned the process to preserve the natural micelle structure (which is responsible for the sustained release profile) and added DigeZyme® as a partner to improve the formula, achieving a creamy and comfortable shake that supports you when it matters most: at night, during controlled fasting, or long gaps between meals. The result is a protein designed to work in your everyday life, with fully transparent labeling, the best flavor experience, and the HSN quality you value so much. When the lights go out and your routine pauses, your body stays active on another level: reorganizing, repairing, rebuilding. Evocasein 2.0 provides a steady flow of amino acids for hours thanks to the micellar matrix, which slows gastric emptying and sustains protein availability throughout the night. This slow release supports an intelligent drip that matches the physiological processes happening overnight, so you wake up feeling better after hours of continuous nutrition.
What matters at night isn’t speed, but consistency. Micellar casein stands out for its ability to maintain amino acid delivery over time, aligning perfectly with what your rest needs. Plus, its naturally creamy texture makes it a unique moment of the day: the shake is easy to drink; and if you prefer mousse: it satisfies without heaviness.
What makes Evocasein 2.0 different
Micellar casein: micelle integrity for the best nutrition
We start with a careful filtration that preserves the micellar structure of milk proteins. This integrity is key: it affects digestion speed, how Evocasein 2.0 mixes, the mouthfeel, and how it works as a protein. Our process aims to ensure Evocasein 2.0 isn’t just “another casein” but a protein that doesn’t make you compromise between quality, taste, and its intended function.
DigeZyme®: enzymes for your proteins
The presence of DigeZyme® provides versatile enzymatic support that accompanies intake (especially when prepared as mousse or shakes with more than one scoop). The enzymes don’t alter the protein fraction’s nature or biological value. You’ll notice the difference daily: it’s smoother to drink, offers more preparation options, and its release curve stays unchanged.
Thanks to the enzymes, enjoying Evocasein 2.0 is easier because it feels good and works.
Protein quality and amino acid profile: transparency you can feel
Evocasein 2.0 is a complete milk protein, naturally containing EAA and BCAA. We don’t add free amino acids to “dress up” numbers: what you see in the nutritional info is the real protein content, flavor by flavor. We use the best nitrogen analysis methods to rigorously establish the protein figure.
In flavors with cocoa or other ingredients that add significant volume, you might notice more noticeable differences in protein content, but this doesn’t affect product quality (which remains the same), only the space those ingredients take up (reducing the protein’s share). That’s why each flavor has its own specific nutritional label, so you can choose by taste, without doubts, completely transparently.
Practically, each average serving (30g) gives you an ideal amount of amino acids for a meal, from a slow protein, with a notable presence of BCAA and glutamine integrated in the milk matrix. The key is how casein delivers those amino acids to the bloodstream: slowly, over hours. That’s its standout value compared to other proteins.
Not just for night: versatility in your daily routine
Although Evocasein 2.0 shines in nighttime use and optimizing muscle nutrition, its usefulness goes beyond. If you work long shifts, travel with few stops, or want help adding protein in more filling formats (like mousse) during cutting phases, casein is a natural ally: it provides top-quality protein, with a smooth, silky texture, and freedom to prepare creamy shakes or protein mousses in minutes. And if you want to awaken your inner chef, its cooking behavior opens a fit recipe catalog: from thick porridges with oats to quick mugcakes or cold sweet creams to eat with a spoon, all with high protein content.
Experience counts as much as results. When you enjoy its texture and flavor, it’s easier to make protein something you won’t want to skip every day.
How to prepare Evocasein 2.0 perfectly
- Creamy shake: mix 30g in a shaker with 250ml of water, milk, or plant-based drink; shake 20–30 seconds, that easy.
- Extra creamy mousse: increase Evocasein 2.0 to 60g, keep the liquid at 250ml, stir with a spoon in a bowl and let rest 1–2 minutes; the result is thick, filling, and super creamy! Pro tip: For best results, chill the mousse in the freezer for 10 minutes before eating.
Practical comparison: Evocasein 2.0 vs. other proteins
If you want immediate amino acid availability after training, a fast protein (whey) fits because of its speed and lightness. But when you want a protein that releases slowly, ideal for nighttime use, Evocasein 2.0 is the best choice.
Many users combine both depending on the moment: whey post-workout to “open” the recovery window and casein before bed to “sustain” it without interruptions. Two tools, one goal: optimal protein nutrition. If the gym is your thing, casein offers an ideal advantage: perfect texture, delicious taste, and a unique amino acid release profile.
Flavors and texture: Evocasein 2.0’s strong point
The big difference with Evocasein 2.0 is how you’ll enjoy it, thanks to its natural creaminess that will have you licking the bowl. Chocolate flavors become super addictive—like a real custard!; in milder flavors, the shake is delicious, smooth, and easy to repeat daily. All flavors have been developed and tested so only those meeting the highest taste and texture standards make it to our catalog. They’re formulated so you can enjoy them as a shake with water or as mousse with milk or plant drinks.
Recommended moments to use
- Before bed: our favorite scenario for its impact on rest and recovery.
- Between long meals: maintains protein intake and helps you hold on thanks to its denser consistency.
- Cutting: smooths transitions between meals and provides quality, delicious protein in sugar-free developed flavors.
- Maintenance: an easy and enjoyable way to meet your daily needs without hassle.
- Bulking: fits in calorie-rich snacks like porridge with nut butters or carbs, where its texture helps you break away from typical shakes.
Frequently asked questions
Why is casein so associated with nighttime?
Because of its prolonged release. The micellar structure slows digestion and maintains a steady flow of amino acids, aligning with rest rhythms and processes during sleep.
What does DigeZyme® add to the formula?
It’s a multi-enzyme complex that makes protein intake more comfortable without affecting its release.
Can I combine Evocasein 2.0 with other proteins?
Yes. In fact, many users prefer whey after training for its speed and Evocasein 2.0 before bed for its prolonged release. You can also mix both in custom ratios in the same shake if you want a mixed release curve.
Is it better to mix it with water, milk, or plant-based drink?
All three options work. With water you get a lighter drink with slightly less flavor; with milk or plant-based drink, the experience is creamier and the flavor rounder, especially if the milk is whole.
Can I cook with Evocasein 2.0?
Of course. It withstands cooking temperatures in mugcakes, porridge, homemade ice creams, or cold creams. If using very hot liquids, pre-mix warm to integrate perfectly and avoid thermal shock damage to the protein powder.
How can I be sure the nutritional info is real?
At HSN we work with total transparency and flavor-specific nutritional info. We don’t add free amino acids to dress up values. We have quality and food safety certifications backing our practices.
How much per serving and how many servings a day should I take?
As a protein food, adjust it to your macros. A practical reference is 30g per serving, but you can use less if complementing a meal with proteins, or more if your context requires it. What matters is total daily protein.
Is Evocasein 2.0 for me?
- Strength and hypertrophy: if you train with weights and want to perform tomorrow like today, casein is your night guardian. It maintains prolonged amino acid release while you sleep and helps optimize muscle nutrition.
- Endurance: runners, cyclists, and triathletes with morning sessions appreciate starting well “loaded” from the night before; Evocasein 2.0 is ideal for this.
- Team sports: schedules with travel, double sessions, and night games benefit from a protein that doesn’t force late eating and serves as a safeguard in times of protein need.
- Weight category sports: its density and creaminess help manage hunger without straying from the plan, as you can prepare it as mousse and eat light but delicious.
- Masters (+40 years): when recovery weighs more, sustaining protein intake during sleep makes a difference.
When your muscle rests, Evocasein 2.0 works. That’s why it’s the perfect protein for night and those longer fasting windows without food.
Your protein “stack”: choose the right tool for each moment
Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC): speed and versatility
If you want fast availability and a light shake before or after training, whey concentrate is a classic for one reason: it absorbs quickly, mixes well, and fits almost any routine. Ideal for those prioritizing the post-workout window with a balanced, very versatile option.
Whey Isolate (CFM): the protein for cutting and the smoothest shake
When you need a shake with the highest isolation level, minimizing carbs and fats, with an even lighter result, whey isolate fits perfectly. Athletes who pay close attention to nutrition details often alternate it with casein, depending on whether they need fast or slow release.
Micellar casein (Evocasein 2.0): prolonged release and creaminess
The night star. Releases amino acids over hours, is enjoyed thicker, and is more filling, especially if eaten with a spoon. It’s the natural partner to fast whey: one for “now,” the other for “while you rest.”
Plant proteins: alternatives we shouldn’t forget
If you prefer plant-based proteins, many options achieve a complete EAA profile, like animal protein and with excellent taste. Many users reserve them for recipes so they don’t rely solely on animal proteins daily.
How much “real” protein is in a scoop?
A standard serving of Evocasein 2.0 (30g) provides up to 26g of protein (exact value depends on flavor). Translated to everyday foods, that’s roughly equivalent to:
Evocasein 2.0 (30g) | up to 26g of protein |
Chicken breast | 100–120g |
Eggs | 3–4 eggs |
Natural tuna (drained) | 100–120g |
Greek yogurt | 200–250g |
Cooked chickpeas | 260–300g |
Cooked lentils | 240–280g |
In short: one scoop at night equals a protein portion from a traditional protein food, but without cooking, no mess, and a smooth texture that’s perfect before bed.
Other questions athletes ask
Does casein “bloat” me because it’s denser?
No. Its creamy texture comes from the micellar matrix. If you prefer lighter sensations, take it as a shake instead of mousse. Although thanks to its enzyme complex, it’s super smooth to take.
Does it make sense to mix it with whey?
Absolutely. Whey protein provides fast absorption, while casein is ideal for prolonged release. It’s a synergistic combo widely used by athletes.
What if I eat dinner late?
If dinner is protein-rich and you feel full, you can skip the night scoop. Still, many users keep it with less liquid as a functional dessert that helps extend the protein intake window.
Can I use it hot?
Yes. We recommend pre-mixing warm to avoid lumps and then adding to your hot drink; this preserves creaminess better.

Top salted caramel flavor.
Santiago 22/09/2023
For me the best casein on the market, I have tried several brands and they made me feel bad digestively and this is the only one that feels good. I have also become addicted to the salted caramel and white chocolate-peanut flavor. In the freezer for 30-40 minutes it looks awesome.

Good protein in bad packaging
Lucas 11/10/2025
Good consistency (being casein) and flavor, and the addition of digestive enzymes helps a lot. The only bad thing is the packaging in bags that do not close well.

Great discovery
Espectacular 08/10/2025
I loved it. I bought the chocolate and hazelnut flavor, and I mix a ladle with 125 ml of milk and half a teaspoon of pure cocoa and leave it in the fridge. The result is a magnificent chocolate mouse that I love before going to sleep. The nutritional values are great and the quality and price are perfect. Very satisfied.

I don't use this protein that much
Ana 05/10/2025
The chocolate one tastes amazing, I don't use it much because I usually use the normal one but it's always good to have this type of protein, I don't notice much difference but it's still early.

They are great with milk
Pablo 03/10/2025
I have ordered several flavors, but the best by far are chocolate with peanuts and hazelnuts. The nougat one is also very tasty, the strawberry-banana one tastes artificial, and the ones with Catalan cream, cookies and custard taste exactly the same? Still, once you find the flavor you like, they are great for dinner. In my case I mix about 40g of casein with 160ml of skim milk. I will keep buying!
