Effective and economical
I use it when I do long mountain bike rides to carry in the bottle with electrolytes and at the end of the rides along with whey protein, it is great for recovery.

Not so necessary
Too many hydrates, I would say, but it is still good.

Simple and effective
Simple and effective, as well as super cheap, high ig carbohydrate for post workout, combined with protein it creates a great insulin spike, as well as replenishing glycogen stores very quickly.
