If you are looking for a sweetener to sweeten your food or drinks and you are a sweet lover or you come from using other sweeteners such as sucralose and you expect the same sweetening power as this or sugar, you are going to be disappointed. Its sweetening power is LOW, even if you apply exorbitant amounts, plus when you do this, it has a negative effect which is that it appears that bitter touch or as other opinions say, licorice flavor. To give you an idea, I have applied more than 30 grams for a coffee and its sweetening power is very low, and as I said, it has that bitter touch that spoils the coffee completely. I have also used it with fresh cheese shake (700gr) and I had to apply an amount of 60 grams of product to "notice" something and again appears that aftertaste of licorice. I also did a test to cook it, applying it in my oatmeal omelet and besides hardening the omelet more than usual, you can hardly notice anything, again using high quantities, in this case I used 50 grams. In short, if you are sweet and you expect this to be your solution, I am sorry to tell you that you will not like it, if you are one of those people that almost everything seems sweet to you and you are not very sweet lovers, it may help you, it may give you texture and some flavor, but for me, it does not make up for it. I hope my opinion will help you to save buying it and throwing it, as in my case, 1kg in the trash.
Si lo que buscas es un edulcorante para endulzar tus comidas o bebidas y eres muy de amante del dulce o vienes de utilizar otros edulcorantes como la sucralosa y esperas la misma capacidad de endulzamiento que este o el azúcar, te vas a llevar un chasco.
Su poder de endulzar es BAJISIMO, aunque apliques cantidades desorbitadas, además cuando haces esto, tiene un efecto negativo que es que aparece ese toque amargo o como dicen otras opiniones, sabor a regaliz.
Para que te hagas una idea, he llegado aplicar mas de 30 gramos para un café y su poder endulzante es bajísimo, a demás como digo, aparece ese toque amargo que estropea el café completamente.
También lo he usado con queso fresco batido (700gr) y tuve que aplicar una cantidad de 60 gramos de producto para “notar” algo y nuevamente aparece ese regusto a regaliz.
Hice también una prueba a cocinarlo, aplicándolo en mi tortilla con avena y además de endurecer la tortilla mas de lo habitual, apenas se nota nada, nuevamente usando cantidades altas, en este caso use 50 gramos.
En definitiva, si eres de dulce y esperas que esta sea tu solución, lamento decirte que no te va a gustar, si eres de esas personas de que casi todo le parece dulce y no son muy amantes del dulce, puede que te sirva, que te de textura y algo de sabor, pero para mi, no compensa.
Espero que mi opinión te sirva para ahorrarte comprarlo y tirarlo, como es mi caso, 1kg a la basura.
