The exact amount of d3, according to your needs.
Not only does vitamin D deficiency appear to be widespread, but there is growing consensus that desirable levels are higher than just "sufficiency". This HSN product is available in different amounts (in this case 2000 IU), which is great for being able to supplement with the right amount. I already supplement with cholecalciferol (Deltius) by medical prescription, but even so I can't reach optimal levels and it will cost me more now in winter when I get less sun, so I will add 2000 IU daily and see how I am in the next control, or I will do it on my own to control (as far as I know, it is difficult to reach toxicity levels, but I prefer to start with less and check the levels). Although it is recommended to accompany this D3 supplementation with vitamin K2, I prefer to do it separately (not in a D3+K2 formulation in the same tablet), to control the doses of each individually. As for the capsules themselves, they come as small pearls with flax oil, which is good as it is a fat-soluble vitamin, although I don't know if such a small amount of oil will be enough to ensure good absorption, so I try to take the capsule with some fatty food. For now I can not talk about the effectiveness because I started taking them and it will be 3-4 months until the next analysis, but I trust that it has the same quality as the rest of the brand's products.
No solo la deficiencia de vitamina D parece ser generalizada, sino que cada vez hay más consenso en que los niveles deseables son más altos que la simple "suficiencia". Este producto de HSN está disponible en distintas cantidades (en este caso 2000 UI), lo cual viene genial para poder suplementarse con la cantidad adecuada. Yo ya me suplemento con colecalciferol (Deltius) por prescripción médica, pero ni así consigo llegar a niveles óptimos y más me costará ahora en invierno que me da menos el sol, así que añadiré 2000 UI diarias más y veré cómo estoy en el próximo control, o me lo haré por mi cuenta para ir controlando (por lo que sé, es difícil alcanzar niveles de toxicidad, pero prefiero empezar por menos e ir revisando los niveles).
Aunque se recomienda acompañar esta suplementación de D3 con vitamina K2, prefiero hacerlo por separado (no en una formulación de D3+K2 en la misma pastilla), para controlar las dosis de cada una individualmente.
En cuanto a las cápsulas en sí, vienen como pequeñas perlas con aceite de lino, lo cuál es bueno al ser una vitamina liposoluble, aunque no sé si tan poca cantidad de aceite será suficiente para asegurar una buena absorción, así que intento tomar la cápsula con alguna comida con algo de grasas.
Por ahora no puedo hablar de la efectividad porque empecé a tomarlas y pasarán 3-4 meses hasta el próximo análisis, pero confío en que tenga la misma calidad que el resto de productos de la marca.
