Vision Care*: complete spectrum for eye health*
Vision Care* of Care Nutrition is a dietary supplement developed for those looking to support eye health* from different angles. It combines vitamins and minerals with bilberry, saffron, lutein, and zeaxanthin in a complete, easy-to-incorporate formula for daily use.
Complete spectrum for eye health*, supported by a direct combination of nutrients: * vitamin A, riboflavin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. In addition, bilberry helps to maintain eye health, while the rest of the ingredients completes a very carefully balanced composition.
A multi-action eye formula* that goes well beyond a single ingredient
One of Vision Care*'s key points is that it doesn't just provide lutein. We've gathered carotenoids, concentrated plant extracts, antioxidant vitamins and minerals in carefully selected forms. This way we offer a more complete option for those who prefer to concentrate their eye-care routine* in a single product.
What makes Vision Care* different?
- Extract of bilberry fruit 100:1, equivalent to 30g of fruit.
- Guaranteed standardization to 35% anthocyanins and 25% anthocyanidins.
- Saffron stigma extract 3:1.
- Lutein and zeaxanthin from a Tagetes erecta flower extract 25:1.
- Natural vitamin E and vitamin A from beta-carotene.
- Zinc and copper as bisglycinate.
The bilberry extract is obtained from the fruit of Vaccinium myrtillus. Its high 100:1 ratio allows concentrating a large amount of plant material into a practical amount of extract. It also provides defined contents of anthocyanins and anthocyanidins, the natural compounds responsible for the berries' characteristic dark color.
The formula adds 3:1 extract of saffron stigmas, a point of interest in saffron, together with a 25:1 extract of flowers of Tagetes erecta, which helps improve visual acuity. Standardized in lutein and zeaxanthin.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are incorporated via a microencapsulated raw material. This format helps protect the carotenoids and allows them to be integrated evenly into the capsules. We’ve also used microencapsulated vitamin A derived from beta-carotene and natural vitamin E in the form of D-alpha-tocopheryl acid succinate.
We complete the composition with zinc and copper as bisglycinate. In these forms, the mineral is bound to glycine, resulting in chelated raw materials chosen for quality. Zinc contributes to the normal metabolism of vitamin A and, along with vitamins C and E, riboflavin and copper, helps protect cells from oxidative damage.
Who is Vision Care* recommended for?
It’s an especially interesting option for adults who want to look after their normal eye health* or who seek a more complete formula than a typical lutein and zeaxanthin-only product.
It can also fit with those who value concentrated plant extracts, standardized raw materials, and the convenience of combining several ingredients in a single formula. The capsule-based formula makes it suitable for vegan diets and allows easy daily intake planning.
To integrate it into your routine, follow the usage directions on the packaging. It can be taken with meals and conveniently spread across different times of the day. Consistency is the best way to make it a habitual part of your daily care.
A simple combination to complement your routine
Vision Care* already provides a broad composition, so there’s no need to pair it with other lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin A or zinc products. If you want to add omega-3 fatty acids while staying fully vegan, you can pair it with Omega-3 Vegano Algae Oil 1000 mg from EssentialSeries.
This dietary supplement provides DHA from microalgae. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision; this beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
Frequently asked questions about Vision Care*
What does it mean that bilberry extract is 100:1?
It means that 100 parts of fruit were used to obtain one part of extract. Thanks to this concentration, we can encapsulate a large amount of fruit (equivalent) in a convenient capsule, along with many other quality ingredients.
What do bilberry standardizations bring?
They guarantee that the extract always contains a defined percentage of its most prominent compounds: 35% anthocyanins and 25% anthocyanidins. This way we can offer a consistent, guaranteed-quality composition.
Where do lutein and zeaxanthin come from?
They come from a concentrated extract of flowers of Tagetes erecta. The raw material is microencapsulated and provides assured amounts of both carotenoids.
Can I combine it with a multivitamin?
Vision Care* already contains a high content of vitamins A, C, E and B2, plus zinc and copper. Before combining it with a multivitamin or another concentrated supplement, check that the combined doses of these micronutrients are suitable. There’s no problem in combining it with other vitamins or minerals not present in the product (such as vitamin D3, for example).
