Instant Polenta from FoodSeries is a food made from corn semolina, pre-cooked to make it instant, with no added ingredients of any kind, 100% natural.

It’s called “instant” polenta because it doesn’t need to be cooked as such – there's no need to boil the corn semolina because it's already pre-cooked, so just by adding boiling water, the polenta paste forms immediately and effortlessly.

High in complex carbohydrates. Low in sugar

Carbohydrates are the foundation of the Western diet, and also an easily accessible energy nutrient that athletes use and need to consume in higher quantities than sedentary people. It's common to find athletes with very high carbohydrate intake, up to 10g per kg of body weight per day, and in addition to powdered concentrated sources like maltodextrin or amylopectin, they look for carbohydrate-rich foods to eat.

They usually end up in the same place: cycling through rice, pasta and oats; maybe... bread.

One of the challenges many people face in their diet is that if they suffer from coeliac disease, or gluten intolerance, their carbohydrate options are far more limited, since most Western carbohydrate-based meals are made from wheat, a gluten-containing grain.

Instant polenta is incredibly versatile in the kitchen. With its neutral flavour, it works well with almost any ingredient, adapting to different times of day and preferences.

If you’re after a savoury option, you can prepare it as a creamy base and serve it with sautéed vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, and a dash of aromatic herbs. You can also let it cool, slice it, and pan-fry or air fry it to get a crispy outside and soft inside – perfect as a healthy side to grilled chicken breast.

How to take INSTANT POLENTA 1Kg

Add 1 scoop of 70ml (approx. 50g) of product for every 200ml of boiling water and stir until a creamy texture is achieved. Add salt and spices to taste and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

    I loved the instant polenta, it's super practical! In a few minutes I have a warm and comforting dish, ideal for those days when I don't have much time to cook. The texture is very nice, soft but full-bodied, and the flavor is neutral, which makes it perfect to combine with both salty and sweet. By the way, I make delicious nachos with it.
