With an extra caffeine kick to get you going!

The instant coffee we use to make our CoffeeFitConQ is not decaffeinated, so it naturally contains caffeine; however, to make it instant, the coffee is processed in a way that reduces its caffeine content. This isn’t a bad thing, but depending on the product’s goals, a different caffeine level might be preferred.

In this case, we considered the caffeine from the soluble coffee alone enough to enjoy the coffee itself, but for those who want to use it as a simple pre-workout stimulant, it might be insufficient.

That’s why we added a small extra amount of caffeine, just enough to reach 150mg of caffeine per cup, or 50mg of caffeine per 100ml of coffee, making it closer to the caffeine content of a traditional, non-instant cup of coffee.

Enjoy the extra caffeine our protein coffee gives you, without giving up the convenience of instant coffee or the effects of traditional coffee stimulants.

Hot or cold? You decide!

Most people prefer their coffee hot, but if you’re someone who likes iced coffee whether it’s cold or hot outside, Paloma Quintana and HSN’s Protein Coffee is perfect for you.

We recommend always using warm liquid, preferably hot, but not boiling, to mix the coffee. Why?

Because protein powder mixes better in warm drinks; if the drink is too hot, it can cause thermal damage to the protein powder, which doesn’t affect its nutritional properties but literally prevents it from mixing properly. Instant coffee also mixes better in hot drinks than cold ones.

So our advice is to heat water, milk, or plant-based drink until it feels hot but not so hot you burn your hand when holding the cup; then add the protein coffee.

Once prepared, you can decide how you want to enjoy it:

  • Cold? Easy, once mixed, add ice or put it in the fridge, and enjoy it at your preferred temperature. We’ve even tried “slushing” the coffee, and it turns out surprisingly good.
  • Hot? You can heat it more once the coffee is mixed into a smooth drink. The protein powder won’t suffer thermal damage anymore, so the problem of poor mixing in very hot liquid disappears; you can heat the drink as much as you want.

Uses beyond enjoyment - How to add it to your routine

You can prepare a cup of Protein Coffee anytime during the day; of course, since it contains caffeine, we recommend avoiding it close to bedtime, as it might interfere with sleep if you’re sensitive.

You can have it in the morning as your usual coffee; or before training. No special considerations are needed to add this coffee to your diet, just enjoy it!
