I love it!

I used to use textured soy as an alternative to minced meat in pasta dishes. I saw this textured pea one on HSN and decided to give it a try. In my opinion, it has a texture even more similar to minced meat than textured soy. In terms of flavor, it needs to be hydrated with something to give it some flavor, just like soybeans, since it doesn't taste like anything by itself.

Solía utilizar soja texturizada como alternativa a la carne picada en platos de pasta. Vi esta de guisante texturizada en HSN y decidí probarla. En mi opinión, tiene una textura todavía más similar a la carne picada que la soja texturizada. En cuanto a sabor, es necesario hidratarla con algo que le dé algún sabor, igual que la soja, ya que de por sí no sabe a nada.
