Why does the scoop say “ml” or “cc”?

Scoops measure volume, which can be expressed in millilitres (ml) or cubic centimetres (cc), both are the same:

1cc = 1ml

Scoops do not measure the number of grams of a product because mass depends on the density of the powder. This means that the same full scoop can correspond to different amounts depending on the product. Let’s look at a real example:

Both Evowhey Protein and Potato Amylopectin use a 70 ml/cc scoop. However, one full scoop equals 30 g of Evowhey Protein, while it corresponds to 50 g of Amylopectin.

You can use the same scoop for different products as long as it matches the recommended serving size, but the exact amount of product it represents is shown on the label or in the table under the “NUTRITION INFO” tab on the website. Another way to measure the mass is by using a kitchen scale.

    The dispenser is of good quality overall, sturdy, easy to clean and practical for everyday use. However, one important point that compromises its use is the lack of measurement indications on the container. Without clear quantity markings, it becomes difficult to ensure the correct dosage, especially for those who need precision.
